Harvard physician Julie Silver, MD, originated #WallsDoTalk in 2017, challenging medical schools to rethink honor walls that depict their founders and star faculty, who often did not reflect the full diversity of the medical field today. The #WallsDoTalk exhibit on the first floor of The Warren Alpert Medical School building features artwork contributed by students and these portraits of women faculty from throughout the School’s history.
